We employ Slovak professional teachers, with university degrees who take part in lifelong learning programmes offered not only by Slovak but also foreign educational institutions.

Foreign language native speakers teach mostly in the English language courses, but also in Italian, French, German and Spanish language courses.

Our graduates obtain an official certificate together with the international ranking within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of the Slovak Republic, The Language school has the authority to grant well-recognised State Language Examinations to our students but also to applicants from outside the institution. State language examinations can be taken at the B2 and C1-C2 levels. The Language school also offers preparatory courses for these examinations.

The co-operation with Goethe-Institut brings the opportunities for the German language teachers to be a part of a lifelong and continuing professional education at Goethe-Institut in Germany. Since 2006, nine of the Language school students have been awarded the scholarship for the German language course in Germany.

The Language school is open to a variety of projects, which are closely related to the teaching and learning of foreign languages, or are oriented to those of the lifelong learning programmes.
